Traveling in Dordogne, France – An Overview of the Region (video)

Sarlat Dordogne Dordogne is mainly known for its cave paintings dating back 16,000 years but there is much more to see and do than just the caves. The region has a dozen or so astonishing deep caverns with underwater rivers, gorgeous rock formations, and one grotto even has a high tech light show to highlight its features. There are castles on almost every river bend, and plenty of river canoeing and other water sports. dogne and the surrounding areas have to offer.

Dordogne Cafe Dordogne is also filled with charming and lovely medieval towns worth strolling through. Lastly, if you like wine, the city and region of Bordeaux is near Dordogne in the neighboring region of La Gironde. The Atlantic Coast and all that it has to offer is a stone throw away from Bordeaux. You need months to really see everything Dor
