Camping In France

Camping In France

added by Madeline Horth

France is the favourite destination to have a cheaper holiday, and the ideal way to get back in touch with nature.

There are between 9,000 and 10,000 registered campsites in France making the country a campers’ paradise.

Most campsites will have capacity for tents, camper-vans and caravans although with smaller sites always check caravan access.

All sites will include showers, toilets and washing areas however after that the differences are vast.

The French Government Issue star ratings just like hotels. Four star ratings are recommended as they often have facilities including; swimming pools, dining areas, convenience shops, also including a bar, internet cafe and restaurant.

Advanced booking is always advised especially if going during the summer period.
